Ten themed weeks of creating, June 1 through August 6, 2026. Every week has its own theme — from Magical Creatures to Space Adventures — with projects designed around it. Choose a morning session, an afternoon session, or stay for the full day.
Each week of Art Camp is built around a different theme, and the projects change to match it. Campers work with a range of materials and techniques — drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, and mixed media — guided by our instructors in a real working art center. Because every week is different, campers can join for one week or return all summer and never repeat a project.
Projects are adapted so every camper is working at the right level.
From Funny Farm to Space Adventures — a different theme and new projects each week.
Morning 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Afternoon 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Monday through Thursday.
All sessions run Monday through Thursday. Pricing is per child, per week.
The morning and afternoon sessions run the themes in a different order, so a full-day camper gets two distinct themes in the same week. Check both tabs to find the theme and dates that fit your child best.

Art Camp is open to children ages 5 through 14. Projects are adapted by age so that younger campers and older campers are both appropriately challenged.
No. All art materials are provided. Campers just need to bring a snack, and a lunch if they are staying for the full day. We recommend clothes that can get a little messy.
No. The morning and afternoon sessions run the themes in a different order, so a full-day camper works on two completely different themes in the same week.
Yes, and many campers do. Each of the ten weeks has its own theme and projects, so campers can attend several weeks — or the entire summer — without repeating anything.
Individual sessions fill at different rates. If a theme is marked Sold Out under the AM tab, that morning session is full, but the afternoon session that same week may still have openings — and vice versa.
Yes. Many families pair a morning session of one camp with an afternoon session of the other. Contact us and we will help you put together a schedule.
All camps are held at the Sugar Land Art Center & Gallery. Please see our contact page for directions and parking information.
Spots are limited and the most popular themes fill quickly. Online registration is opening soon — in the meantime, contact us to reserve your camper’s spot for the 2026 summer season.
